Stacie Smith, Community Arts Center Director

Stacie Smith has joined Thalian Association Community Theatre as Community Arts Center Director and Operations Coordinator as of January 2022. The Thalian Association Community Theatre has managed the Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center for the City of Wilmington since 1994.

Stacie Smith studied Hospitality Management at CFCC, before deciding to go into teaching. Stacie  continued to teach for the last 7 years and enjoyed every minute of it.

Stacie was first introduced to Thalian Association in 2006 when she was cast in her first musical, from there her love of the company grew. She has continued with the company as a performer, stage manager, Children’s theatre director, and Creative Arts Camp asst. director.

Her favorite thing about growing up at the CAC was that the moment you walk through the door, someone sees you and knows your name. She hopes to make each and everyone feel the same!
